Dial in your Super X Blend for an exceptional cup every time. Optimised for espresso but performs beautifully across all brew methods.

DOSE & GRIND
Weigh out your dose and grind fresh immediately before brewing. A consistent grind size is the single biggest factor in extraction quality.

ESPRESSO EXTRATION
Pull your shot aiming for a yield of 46–48 grams out. Target an extraction time of 28–30 seconds for optimal balance of sweetness and body. If your machine has PID temperature control, set your group boiler to 91°C for best results.

ALTERNATIVE BREW METHODS
Super X performs across every brew method. For filter and pour-over use a medium grind at 93°C. French press and moka pot benefit from a slightly coarser grind and full immersion time of 4 minutes.

TASTE & ADJUST
Your perfect cup should lead with Dark Chocolate and Caramel , finishing with a smooth StoneFruit sweetness. If the shot tastes bitter, grind coarser or reduce dose slightly. If it tastes too sour, grind finer or extend extraction time.

SAN PEDRO SUPER X ESPRESSO MARTINI
5 min · cocktail · serves 2

INGREDIENTS

Super X Espresso Shot — 60ml (double shot)
Vodka — 60ml
Coffee Liqueur (Kahlúa) — 30ml
Simple Syrup — 10ml
Ice — handful
Coffee Beans — 3 beans to garnish

METHOD
01 · EXTRACT

Pull a double shot of San Pedro Super X Blend — 23g in, 46–48g out at 91°C. Allow to cool for 2 minutes so it doesn't melt the ice too fast and dilute your cocktail.

02 · BUILD

Add the espresso, vodka, Kahlúa and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker packed with ice. Seal it tight.

03 · SHAKE

Shake hard for 15–20 seconds. You want it ice cold and you're building that signature thick foam on top — the shake is everything here.

04 · SERVE

Double strain into two chilled martini glasses. The crema foam will rise naturally to the top. Garnish with 3 whole Super X coffee beans and serve immediately.
